Iss0036 add gui feedback

D requested to merge iss0036_add_gui_feedback into master

It adds switches which change state according to the controller data. It adds a pair of buttons which command the controller to go to Auto or Manual mode, when applicable (idleauto and idlemanual). Switches are operable only when in idlemanual.
